IEEE Vizag Bay Section
Vizag Bay Sub-Section (R0014902) formed on 19-Feb-2011 with the geographical boundaries of Srikakulam Dist, Vijayanagaram Dist, Visakhapatnam Dist, East Godavari Dist, West Godavari Dist, and Krishna Dist of Andhra Pradesh, India. Our petition for the elevation of the Vizag Bay Sub-Section geographical area is recommended by IEEE Hyderabad Section, endorsed by IEEE R10, and approved by MGA. Thus Vizag Bay Section (R00150) formed as the 12th Section in India and 59th Section in R10. The IEEE Vizag Bay Section geographical boundaries are defined by the areas with our Indian Postal Pin Codes 520000 to 521999 and 530000 to 549999.
IEEE Long Island Section
The IEEE Long Island Section encompasses the counties of Nassau and Suffolk on Long Island, NY. It’s the largest professional organization on Long Island. The Section’s membership is composed of engineers, scientists, physicists, computer scientists, medical doctors, software developers, lawyers, information technology professionals and many others in addition to the electrical and electronics engineering core. In 2018, the IEEE Long Island Section celebrated its 65th Anniversary of serving its members, the public and students on Long Island with technical presentations, symposia & conferences, sponsoring University programs and helping introduce STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) technology careers to young people.
IEEE Finland Section
The Finland Section of the IEEE has over 1000 members. If you are an IEEE member and live in Finland, you are automatically a member of the Finnish Section, allowing you to share technical, professional, and personal interests with others in the IEEE’s worldwide member community. The Section is part of Region 8, which covers Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.The Finnish Section consists of 6 Technical Chapters and one Young Professional Affinity Group.
The Finnish Section’s main task is coordination and support for activities organized to ensure quality member opportunities for continuous engagement and to advance technology to humanity. Besides, the Finnish Section supports students and young professionals activates as well as IEEE conferences organized in Finland.
