Hazar Oklah, an accomplished Industrial Engineer and a pivotal figure in both the corporate and IEEE communities, currently excels as the Head of Technical Sales at RestHero.io, a leading Food-Tech Startup in the UAE. Notably, Hazar's influence extends into her role as an IEEE Region 8 WIE Committee Member, where her contributions significantly impact the engineering community. Her journey began as a Researcher at University College London, with subsequent pivotal roles in Amazon's KSA and UAE operations. Since 2017, Hazar has been an active IEEE volunteer, starting as Chairwoman of the IEEE WIE Affinity Group at Jordan University of Science and Technology. Her journey through IEEE roles, including the Publicity Officer for the IEEE R8 WIE Sub-committee and Vice Chair for Communications & Promotions for SPAx within IEEE MGA, culminates in her current leadership as Editor in Chief for IEEE Region 8 Today.     • Detailing Education: Learn how to effectively outline your education history, including significant coursework, projects, and extracurricular activities to enhance your academic portrayal on LinkedIn.
    • Showcasing Skills and Volunteer Activities & Internships: Emphasize your soft skills and volunteer experiences, illustrating your well-rounded profile to potential employers.
    • Networking Basics: Gain essential tips on how to network efficiently on LinkedIn, connect with professionals, and uncover new career opportunities.

  • Part 2: Real-time CV Workshop

    • Structuring Your CV: Guidance on organizing your CV to highlight educational background, projects, and skills effectively.
    • Highlighting Key Achievements: A focus on emphasizing academic projects and achievements to demonstrate your capabilities to prospective employers.
    • Incorporating Extracurriculars: Tips on how to use volunteer work and extracurricular activities to mitigate experience gaps on your CV.
    • ATS-Friendly Strategies: Concluding with advice on optimizing your CV for Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to increase your chances of getting interviews.
