SUBMISSION DEADLINE

Full paper submission due June 14, 2024 July 2, 2024 at 11:59pm EDT.

Step 1: Get template and read instructions

Authors are invited to submit a 3-page camera-ready manuscript formatted according to the official IEEE templates for conference proceedings.

Submitted manuscripts must:

    • describe new and unpublished technical contributions related to the areas in the Call for Papers;
    • be submitted in PDF format. Other formats or hard copies will not be accepted. Maximum file size: 12 MB;
    • be up to three pages long;
    • be written in idiomatic English;
    • be formatted using the IEEE template, available here (double-column format);
    • be camera ready and compliant with the general standards of the IEEE, including appropriate referencing. If the manuscript is accepted, it will be reproduced as is in the conference proceedings and on IEEEXplore;
    • have clear and readable graphics;
    • have all fonts and graphics embedded in the manuscript;
    • be free from plagiarism;
    • include on the first page of the paper:

Failure to adhere to these requirements will be ground for rejection.

Step 2: submit

The submission of papers will be through the EasyChair website. Authors that never used this platform previously will need to create an account. To submit a paper, log into the IEEE EPEPS 2024 submission webpage and choose New Submission. Successful submissions will receive a confirmation e-mail with subject IEEE EPEPS 2024 submission [number]. Updates can be made until the paper submission deadline.

After the notification of acceptance

Authors of accepted papers will need to comply with the IEEE Electronic Copyright Form (eCF) directives and check their Final Paper on IEEE PDF eXpress . Further information will be provided in the notification email.

Additional requirements for submissions to the “Best student paper award”

Submissions that want to be considered for the “Best Student Paper Award” must conform to the following additional requirements:

    1. The student author must have full-time graduate status in an accredited university at the time of submission;
    2. The student author must be the main contributor to the presented work;
    3. The student author must be the first author of the manuscript;
    4. The student author must present the work at the conference, in case the paper is accepted;
    5. The paper submission must be accompanied by a separate PDF file with a signed statement from the thesis supervisor, on official letterhead of the university, stating:

To the Chair of the EPEPS conference:

“I hereby confirm that ……………………. is pursuing the ……………………. degree program under my supervision. He/she is currently registered as a full-time student in the department of ……………………. at ……………………. (University/College). He/she is the main contributor to the work titled, “…………………….” In case this paper is accepted, he/she will make the presentation.

Additional requirements for submissions to the “Best benchmark paper award”

Submissions that want to be considered for the “Best Benchmark Paper Award” must utilize at least one of the benchmarks established and released publicly by the IEEE TC-EDMS Packaging Benchmarks Committee, available here: http://www.packaging-benchmarks.org/

Special Issue of IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology

Select EPEPS papers will be invited for a full-length submission to a special issue of IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology.
