Biography – Dr. Ramin Mirzahosseini

Ramin Mirzahosseini received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2009 and 2011, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Toronto, Toronto, ON, Canada, in 2017. He is currently with the RTDS Technologies as a simulation specialist where he developed the traveling-wave relay testing capability. His research interest include high-performance FPGA-based computing, real-time simulation of the power system EMTs, power electronics and Power-Hardware-In-the-Loop tasting.
