Our team of students at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County proudly welcome you to our campus!

UMBC is an up-and-coming public research university located just outside of Baltimore. We are 5 minutes away from the BWI Airport, 15 minutes from the Baltimore Harbor, and an hour away from Washington D.C., making our campus easy to access, and giving our students endless opportunities. UMBC’s community consists of 11,000 undergraduate students enrolled in 48 different undergraduate majors. With over 60 graduate programs, our students have the opportunity to learn from experts in both technology and the arts.

Our College of Engineering and Information Technology (COEIT) provides students with connections to some of the nation’s leading technical organizations and companies. UMBC partners with organizations like NASA, Northrop Grumman, and various research groups to perform cutting-edge research in fields ranging from physics and cybersecurity, to biology. The bwtech campus houses companies focused on leading technical interests such as AI, and provides students with internships and opportunities to be a part of exciting research.
