Student Volunteers

We are looking for a small number of dedicated student volunteers to assist with the smooth running of NAECON this year.  To be a student volunteer you must be a student at the time of the conference.  We are more than happy to accept undergraduate, Masters, and PhD students. We need friendly enthusiastic volunteers to help us out.  To thank you for your help, as a student volunteer you would receive free registration* for the conference (including tutorials).   NOTE: We are unable to offer any travel funds so all volunteers must arrange for their own transportation and lodging.

Volunteers assist with registration, monitor sessions (handout materials, assist presenters with AV needs), collect presentations, help local arrangements chairs, update session signs and provide directions to participants, etc. Volunteers are expected to contribute a minimum of 15 hours of time during the conference.  Students who wish to attend specific sessions can schedule their volunteer time so it does not conflict with those presentations.  If they do, they can coordinate this with other volunteers and local arrangements chair.
