Enock Mulenga

Dr. Eng. Enock Mulenga, who is currently a Post-doctoral Researcher at the Luleå University of Technology in Sweden at Skellefteå campus in new renewable energy (electricity production), new electricity consumption (EV), grid integration studies (GIS), Smart Asphalt materials for EV wireless charging and power quality (PQ). He is also the founder of North Voltage Engineering in Zambia, which aims to bridge the gap of renewable energy experts in Zambia through training and to provide low-cost renewable energy to millions of Zambians in rural areas.

He obtained his bachelor’s degree (BEng.) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering at Copperbelt University (Kitwe-Zambia) in 2008. He later obtained his Master’s degree (MSc). in Electrical Engineering (Electric Power Engineering) and specializing in Power Electronics for Power Systems with high penetration of renewable energy at Chalmers University of Technology (Gothenburg-Sweden) in 2015. Finally, he obtained his Degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Science (Electric Power Engineering) at Luleå University of Technology (Skellefteå-Sweden) in 2021, specializing in studies for new renewable electricity production (PV) and consumption (EV) integration to distribution networks.

He has a strong bias in research for Solar PV Power/Electrical Engineering. He is a seasoned engineer with over ten (10) years of work experience in engineering, research and training with a career spanning different companies has developed a strong passion for renewable energy with its potential to drive rural areas’ economies from zero to hero.
