Mamadou Diong
Mamadou Diong is a Consulting Engineer with Dominion Energy and has 15 years of experience working in the Energy Industry. At Dominion Energy, he works as a DER Grid Solutions engineer, part of the Power Delivery organization. His current work is focused on DER Integration and Strategies as well as reviews of Grid Edge solutions which include V2G and Energy Storage solutions. Mamadou serves as Dominion Energy’s SME for IEEE Std. 1547 and is currently the secretary for P1547.2 (revision of guide to the IEEE Std. 1547) as well as the incoming chair for the future revision of IEEE Std. 1547-2018 working group.
Mamadou is also a member of the IEEE 1547 Education and Credentialing Program Utility Advisory Board (UAB), the IEEE Standard Coordinating Committee 21 (SCC21) which oversees the development of standards in the areas of fuel cells, photovoltaics, dispersed generation, and energy storage. Finally, he is a member of the UL 1741 – which tests and verifies compliance with the IEEE Std. 1547 –Standard Technical Panel (STP).
