Akshaya S is a pre-final year student from St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, Currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Chennai. Akshaya S is a budding developer and SEO Expert. She is currently serving as the Chairman of IEEE St. Joseph’s College of Engineering’s Student Branch Chapter Women in Engineering Affinity Group and a member of the Executive Committee in IEEE Yesist12 Content & Communication Team. She started volunteering in IEEE SJCE SB events and by her exemplary efforts, she got into section level volunteering by the end of 2020. Rather than IEEE, She has a strong contribution towards the welfare of Women. Currently, she is developing a self-defense device along with her team for women’s safety. She is the winner of the Yaadhum Oorae Global Conclave Hackathon organized by the IEEE Yesist12 Committee under the Southern India Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association with Guidance TN.
