IEEE EDS SUMMER SCHOOL
DESIGN, CHARACTERIZATION, AND FABRICATION OF SENSORS AND INTEGRATED CIRCUITS
ABOUT
The second edition of the summer course is going to be hosted by the National Institute for Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (INAOE) and organized by the 2023 IEEE Latin American Conference LAEDC from June 29th – 1 July 2023 in Puebla, Mexico. This will be a three-day workshop including lectures, guided laboratories tours, experiments, hands-on training, and research experience in the design, fabrication, and testing of integrated circuits (IC) fabricated in Latin America.
This Summer School features high-quality speakers. It will be a three-day course with 9 lectures from Industry (Synopsis) and Academia (INAOE/GeorgiaTech/Andes). The summer course will be supplemented with the feedback and experiences of the 9 winners of the first Latin American contest on the design of integrated circuits (IC). The chips have already been fabricated and are in the process of undergoing testing.
