About IEEE Region 10 (Asia-Pacific)
IEEE Region 10 is home to organizational units in Asia and Pacific. There are 59 sections across region 10.
The Asia Pacific office is located in Singapore, the office was registered in Singapore on 4th January 1994 as a branch representative office of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE). It aims to keep the Asia Pacific region the most vibrant and active of the 10 geographical regions in the IEEE, by keeping the volunteers informed and their activities coordinated.

About IEEE Bangalore Section
IEEE Bangalore Section was established in 1977 and is one of the most vibrant and dynamic IEEE sections across the globe. Over the years the strength of the section has grown steadily. Currently, the Section membership stands just a little more than 10000. This membership spread across various sectors is a remarkable blend of Industry, Academia, and Research organizations. The section conducts 2000+ technical activities every year with the help of its Student branches, sub-sections, affinity groups, and society chapters.
IEEE Bangalore Section has also been a recipient of many prestigious awards over the years from across the globe. It won the MGA Outstanding Large Section Award (2013 & 2019) and R10 Distinguished Large Section Award (2013 & 2020), apart from many other individual student branches and member awards.
IEEE Bangalore Section has expanded its membership across the state of Karnataka and is now home to three Subsections (Mangalore, North Karnataka, and Mysore), 28 Society Chapters, and 4 affinity groups (Young Professionals, Women in Engineering, Life Member and Consultant Network). The Chapters and AGs carry out focused activities in their respective areas by conducting technical talks under DLT, Seminars, Tutorials, workshops, conferences, and so on. The section has over 100 active and dynamic student branches. Student Branches have been at the forefront in conducting various activities for the benefit of their members.
This year’s R10HTC 2021 will be held in the beautiful climes of Bangalore from September 30 to October 2, 2021. The conference will be held in a blended mode, with both online and offline events. It is expected that over 1000+ participants will participate in this prestigious event along with 100+ paper presentations in the many tracks.
In all, IEEE R10HTC 2021 aims to be an amazing journey into discovery and discourse. A place for participants to discover solutions to mankind’s many challenges, spark innovation and entrepreneurship and unlock their true potential for addressing what is truly important in today’s world to create a beautiful and sustainable tomorrow.
