We have been closely following the Covid-19 situation both in Luxembourg and internationally and are acutely aware of the challenges affecting each and everyone in the community. At the same time, we have heard from many stakeholders how much they are hoping to join an in-person conference again as soon as this is possible, to interact with their colleagues beyond video-chat.
With winter making the situation particularly challenging in Europe, we are unfortunately not in a position to be able to promise that the conference will be able to go ahead fully in-person at this time. Nevertheless, we are working hard to organise it at the very least as a hybrid event, supporting both in-person and virtual attendance – for those who cannot travel. Acknowledging the degree of uncertainty, (which even fuzzy systems seem unable to tackle – solutions welcome!😉), we will postpone the paper submission deadline beyond the date of February 10th currently advertised. We will announce the new submission deadline before February 10th, but expect the extension to cover a minimum of three weeks.
