Recent developments around Covid-19 in Luxembourg and internationally have made the organisation of Fuzz-IEEE 2021 as an in-person or hybrid event in July 2021 increasingly challenging, with limited scope to expect confident decision making in the next two months.
At the same time, we are acutely aware that the prevailing uncertainty and general impact of Covid is resulting in increased stress, workload and impacting research output. We also know that many in the community were very much hoping for a conference with an in-person component and we have explored many alternatives, including delaying the conference under a hybrid form to later in the year.
The final decision by IEEE CIS is for Fuzz-IEEE 2021 to go ahead as a fully virtual conference on the original dates, i.e. July 11th-14th, with updated deadlines as per below. No further extensions are expected.
We would have loved welcoming you in person in Luxembourg, yet we are still very much looking forward to welcoming you to a vibrant and engaging virtual conference. We are working on it – see you (even virtually) soon! 😊
