Dana Voll
Dana Voll is an electrical engineer at Northrop Grumman in Baltimore, MD working in electronic warfare systems integration and testing. She graduated from the University at Buffalo in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering. During her junior year, in 2015, she co-founded an all girls engineering summer camp for high school students at UB, called TINKER. She has worked on TINKER every summer since. TINKER is designed to introduce all disciplines of engineering to the campers, while breaking down some common misconceptions about women in engineering. Dana presented about TINKER and how to encourage young female students to study engineering in the 2015 and 2016 WIE Forum conferences, and volunteered for the WIE Forum conference in 2017 and 2018.
