* Registration includes: refreshment breaks and a bagged lunch on each day, access to all sessions, exhibits, welcome reception, gala dinner, conference program, and password-controlled internet access to the conference proceedings. Short courses are not included.

 

Please note if you are registering as an IEEE member, you must be active and all membership fee payments must be up to date.

 
**One Day Registration includes: refreshment breaks and a bagged lunch on that day, password-controlled internet access to the conference proceedings and reception (if it coincides with the day of reception), but it does not include banquet. The banquet is optional and is £60.
 
***Short Course Only Registration includes: access to the short course and does not include access to conference sessions, banquet, reception, or exhibits. It includes password-controlled internet access to the conference proceedings.
 
****Companion Registration includes:  Refreshment breaks and lunches on each day, welcome reception and gala dinner.
 
Life Member is defined by IEEE as at least 65-years old and the age plus years of IEEE membership should be equal or greater than 100. Life members should show their IEEE Life Member card or evidence of Life Membership when getting registration materials.
 
Cancellations:  Notification of cancellation must be sent by email to ieee-ius2019@in-conference.org.uk, cancellation is only valid if you receive an acknowledgement from the organisers. A refund less a £40.00 administration fee, will be provided for cancellations received on or before Monday 26th August 2019 midnight BST/GMT+1 (16:00 PDT). No refunds will be made after this date.

 

In the event that the symposium has to be cancelled due to circumstances out with the control of IEEE IUS, refunds on registration fees will only apply once other conference expenses have been covered. IEEE IUS will not be liable for any other travel or accommodation costs incurred by participants.

Delegates must arrange their own travel insurance.

Registration Key Dates:

  • Registration will open in 2019
  • Early bird registration closes on Monday, 26 August 2019, midnight Pacific Time
  • The late registration rate will be available from Tuesday, 27 August 2019
  • Online registration closes on Friday, 04 October 2019, midnight BST/GMT+1 (16:00 PDT). After this date only onsite registration will be available.

Payment of Registration Fees
Full payment must be made by credit/debit card at the time of registering.

Cards accepted are VISA, Visa Debit and MasterCard, unfortunately we cannot accept American Express or Maestro.

Full payment must be received in full prior to the Congress. If you register at the early registration rate, payment must be received in full by the Early Registration deadline. If payment is not received at this time, your registration rate will automatically be changed to standard registration and the higher fee will be due.

On receipt of your registration form, a confirmation email and receipt will be sent to you by the congress  organisers. If you have not received this within 5 working days of registering, please contact the congress organisers by emailing ieee-ius2019@in-conference.org.uk

Delegate Cancellation
Notification of cancellation must be submitted by email to the congress organisers (In Conference Ltd) to ieee-ius2019@in-conference.org.uk.

Cancellations made on or before the official cancellation deadline will be refunded less the £50 administration fee. Cancellations made after the cancellation deadline will NOT be refunded.

No Shows will NOT be refunded.

Substituting a registered delegate with an alternative person (one of your co-authors only) is acceptable until the cancellation deadline and should be notified to ieee-ius2019@in-conference.org.uk Note that the name and order of the authors will NOT be changed in the congress programme and proceedings.

Liability
By no means shall IEEE IUS 2019 be held liable, either directly or indirectly, for any problematic issue that may occur within the framework of the congress and its organisation, not only with respect to the organisers but also with respect to third parties (airline companies, hotels, transportation, taxis, etc.) while in the performance of duties or services even indirectly related to the congress.

This contractual liability exemption clause is equally valid in case of an event of force majeure which leads to the disruption and/or the partial or complete cancellation of the congress programme, for reasons not attributable to IEEE IUS 2019. An event of force majeure is defined as an unforeseen and exceptional event – be it climatic, environmental, political or socio-economic – and does not imply any limitation.

Furthermore, the delegate also expressly agrees to totally absolve IEEE IUS 2019 from any responsibility and liability with regard to travel insurance and related costs or claims. It is solely up to the individual to seek out and purchase or otherwise obtain the necessary insurance with regards to his/her travel, etc. and/or to independently issue a claim against any third party that may be responsible for direct or indirect losses or damages caused to or suffered by the delegate en route to and from the congress.

Validity of Passports
It is your responsibility to ensure that your passport is valid for travel and we recommend that you check with your local Embassy.  Please note that some countries require your passport to be valid for up to 3 months from the date of return.
